What to Know Before Your Visit
If you are ready to pierce your ears, then make your way to one of our stores, a qualified representative will be more than happy to assist you and guide you through the steps.
If you are 14 years or older you may come and get your ears pierced alone. Anyone who is younger that 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Any documents or authorization papers signed by a parent will not be accepted.
Before proceeding with ear piercing the sales representative will ask you to sign a discharge. Make sure to read and understand it completely. Without a signature, we cannot pierce your ears.
Choice and Price
Whether you wish to pierce one hole or two, the price is $24.99 and that includes the STUDEX 24K gold over surgical stainless steel non-allergenic earrings. Once the pack of earrings is opened we are obligated to use the earrings right away for sanitary reasons.
We strongly recommend that you purchase the after piercing lotion from Studex at a cost of $5.95 to treat your newly pierced ears. This lotion was specifically made to care and aid in the proper healing of your pierced ears.
Treatment and After-care
It is extremely important to wash your hands before coming into contact with your newly pierced ears. DO NOT remove or manipulate earrings for no reason.
ATTENTION: It is very important to not remove or manipulate the earrings during the healing period.
Ensure that you clean the front and the back of each earlobe at least three (3) times a day with cotton wool soaked in an after-care piercing lotion. In order to clean them place the soaked cotton against the front and back of the ear and earring, then make a complete turn (360 degree spin) of the earring post.
For ear lobe piercings: Earring post must remain in place for a minimum of 6 weeks in the lobe. Once that time has passed and you wish to change your earrings, make sure to ALWAYS keep an earring in your hole for a minimum of 6 months.
For cartilage piercings: Earring post must remain in place for a minimum of 8-12 weeks within the cartilage. Once that time has passed and you wish to change your earrings, make sure to ALWAYS keep an earring in your hole for a minimum of 12 months.
CAUTION: After each wash or contact with shampoo, rinse well around the earlobes to remove all soap residue. Make sure to cover earlobes when using hairspray, perfume or other chemical products in order to avoid any unnecessary reaction with your newly pierced ears. Give them the proper time to heal.
